Frequently asked questions

UNPACKING YOUR NYLON ITEMS

• Our hanging nylon decor items come brand new and packed in a protective bag.
• During shipment your items are shipped flat, and once they get to their new home, you will have to "bring them to life" by slightly bending the soft wire frame of the wings or petals.
• We also have found that if you slightly bend the wire frame on the butterflies and dragonflies into a slight upward shape it allows them to hang nicely to add the perfect touch and give them more dimension.
• Most decorations are accented with glitter & sequins, so please be careful if little hands want to help you decorate because they are so excited and can't wait to decorate their rooms.

HANGING YOUR NYLON ITEMS

• Most of our nylon items come with fishing line and hoop already attached for easy hanging.
• The fishing line and hoop can be removed if you would like - simply untie and gently remove from the nylon decoration.
• Some of them hang vertically while other styles hang horizontally. If you want to add more fishing line to your nylon items, you can easily add some by poking the nylon fishing line through the fabric on the outer edge of one wing or petal and tie a small double knot.
• With the other end of the string, repeat on the opposite wing or petal and then hang these for all to enjoy.
• If you wish to extend the existing fishing line to hang it lower, simply add extra fishing line to the top nylon thread or hoop.

HANGING YOUR NYLON DECORATIONS FROM THE CEILING

• Easily use the fishing line and hoop if included, hang from a glue dot, tack, cup hooks, small nail, or screw eyes.
• You can even remove the hoop and just hang by the fishing line using a staple gun, wire brads, thumb-tack, upholstery nails to make these look like they are "flying" around the room.
• If you wish to extend the fishing line or add various heights, simply add extra fishing line to the top nylon thread or hoop.
• Most of the decorations come with the fishing line attached to the top wings and the bottom wings, allowing the decorations to hang horizontally from the ceiling. If you want the decorations to hang vertically instead, simply & gently remove the fishing line from the bottom two wings.

ATTACHING YOUR NYLON DECORATIONS TO THE WALLS

• If you are going to attach these to the walls, you can remove the attached fishing line and instead you can use glue dots, small nail, Velcro, or even double sided tape hidden behind the item.
• To remove the attached fishing line, simply pull the knot where it is attached to the bug up sliding it on the fishing line, & being very careful cut the fishing line, and pull the free end to completely remove.
• For 'beaded body' bugs: Take the nail, brad or push pin and push it through the nylon fabric back behind the body and simply nail to the wall.
• For 'cloth body' bugs: Take a nail, brad or push it through the nylon fabric body (just a thin layer of fabric, not through the entire body) and simply nail to the wall.
